item5Complex interior staircases in existing high rise buildings

CHG is often asked to build complex interior staircases connecting floors within existing buildings. Two recent projects include one for Hillis, Clark, Martin & Peterson, P.S. in the Wells Fargo Tower at 999 Third Avenue that connects the 45th and 46th floors. The second, also in a downtown high rise is for a client who does not wish to be identified. Both were complicated by the logistics of working in an open for business building, with limited access for bringing in materials and working during other companies’ working hours. For the HCMP offices, CHG worked with Unimark Construction Group, Inc. and installed 3.5 tons of structural steel in addition to the steel stairs and railings.
